The construction of the Benban Solar Park is framed within the goal of generating 20% of electricity from renewable energies by 2022.
Noor Abu Dhabi
Noor Abu Dhabi is the cheapest solar plant in the world. It has 3.2 million solar panels and installed power of 1,177 MW that has been possible thanks to the consortium formed between Marubeni and Jinko Solar. This project will stop emitting one million tons of CO2, which is equivalent to the emissions of 200,000 cars for one year.
